Each year, House Metaxy sends the Academy on its annual Harvest Quest as summer gives way to autumn. Students help maintain the balance between seasons by tending sacred places, gathering crops and magical ingredients, assisting spirits, and completing whatever work the changing world requires. The quest brings them beyond the Academy into forests, fields, shrines, crossroads, and places where the boundary between worlds grows thin. What begins as seasonal work may reveal something far stranger beneath the harvest.
Characters
Erebus accompanies the quest through its darker, forgotten places, embodying the unknown and the spaces between worlds. Quiet, distant, and ancient, he is patient with those willing to face uncertainty. Divine Affinity: Swallows sound, softens every edge, and creates weightless darkness.

Summer was beginning to loosen its hold on Olympus. Across the Academy grounds, gardens had begun to turn gold at their edges. The Greenhouses were heavy with ripened herbs and magical plants, while spirits stirred within the Grove as the first cool winds of autumn moved through the trees.
Gaia walked among the gardens, tending to the living earth with ancient patience. Circe inspected baskets of herbs and alchemical ingredients, already considering what could be made from the season's harvest. Hecate watched the crossroads and portals, ensuring the paths between places remained open.
Selene observed the changing moon above the Observatory, while Nyx lingered where daylight faded into shadow. Hypnos prepared quiet places for those who would need rest, and Thanatos stood among the Academy's memorial grounds, quietly watching another season reach its end.
Ananke knew the season would change whether anyone was ready or not.
Erebus waited in the darker paths beyond the Academy. And Chaos, as always, seemed entirely too amused by whatever might happen next.
