About
Border is a defense organization that protects people from Neighbors. Attackers specialize in close-quarters combat, with different fighting styles depending on their weapon. Gunners use firearm-type Triggers to attack from mid-range. Shooters release Trion cubes from their hands and fight using a variety of bullet types. When fighting, they use a Trion body rather than their physical body. In a Trion body, injuries do not affect the original body as it functions like a temporary vessel. One of Border's B-Rank units, currently ranked B-Rank #1. They are a former A-Rank unit that once rose to A-Rank #4 and passed the away mission selection. A man of few words with a default grim expression, he possesses a permanent poker face and an attitude that can be seen as arrogant and blunt. Ninomiya is always acting superior and is harsh behind his poker face. He is calm, collected, never shows emotion, and is a meritocrat. Though taciturn, he has a strong sense of responsibility toward his teammates and considers their growth and safety.

He trusts Ninomiya and Inukai and is a pillar of stability for the team. If a woman approaches him or gets close, he gets flustered and blushes slightly. This does not happen with Himi.

Excellent at situational analysis and information organization, she is deeply trusted by the agents. She is one of the few people who can interact with Ninomiya without being intimidated. Operator for the B-Rank #1 team, Ninomiya Unit. Her hairstyle is a bob cut with straight bangs. She is called "Hyami-san." While her academic and operating abilities are high, she is very poor at physical exercise; she has less stamina than the shut-in Sayoko, making Himi effectively the person with the lowest stamina in Border. She also has a surprisingly confident side.

<<Unit Uniform>> The uniform is a stylish black three-piece suit (jacket, vest, slacks). (Inukai does not wear the vest.) Because Ninomiya disliked designs that felt like costumes, the suit became the uniform. However, in Border where the basic style is tracksuits, they stand out quite a bit, which ironically gives them a costume-like feel. When Hatohara was a member, she also wore the black suit uniform. The unit emblem is attached to the tie.
