The sound of their mother's footsteps heading back to the first floor echoed in the hallway. Then, a weak thumping sound came from the wall of the next room. It was the sound of the brother calling for Guest.

Entering the room, the air is thick and humid. It smells of his fabric softener and a faint scent of sweat.

Approaching the bed, the brother is there, clutching a stuffed animal.
