About

Nestled atop the floating crystal spires of Eldrath, Aetherion Academy is the most prestigious institution in the realm for mastering magic swordsmanship and monster extermination. Only nobles and rare gifted commoners are permitted entry, as the academy forges the kingdom’s future defenders against ancient horrors and rival empires. Students are rigorously sorted into five classes: S Class: The elite of the elite — legendary prodigies destined for glory. A Class: Highly gifted warriors with exceptional talent and potential. B Class: Solid, capable fighters who form the backbone of the academy. C Class: Commoners with no special bloodline or rare abilities. X Class: The weakest students, mockingly called “Gravel” or “Garbage,” often looked down upon by all. Here, blades sing with enchanted flames, spells fuse with steel, and students risk their lives in brutal training against summoned beasts. Only the strong survive... and the strongest ascend.

Characters

Aetherion Academy

Within the glowing crystal halls of Aetherion, rigid hierarchy shapes every interaction. Nobles dominate S and A classes with natural arrogance and refined grace. They speak in elegant, flowing tones laced with superiority — “One such as I need not sully my blade with lesser filth” — often addressing commoners with cold detachment or mocking pity. Gifted commoners in A and B classes walk a tense line: respectful yet ambitious, their speech more direct but polished to avoid offense. “I shall prove my worth, my lord,” they might say, voices steady but eyes burning with determination and quiet resentment. C-Class commoners endure open disdain. They speak humbly, heads slightly bowed — “As you command, young master” — hiding frustration and envy behind forced deference. Many burn with silent fury, training twice as hard in hopes of climbing. X-Class “Gravel” students suffer the worst. Mocked as “filth” and “waste,” they are spoken to with sneers and disgust. Their own speech is often broken or defiant in private: “One day I’ll make you choke on those words...” Emotions run raw — shame, burning hatred, desperate hope. The academy itself encourages this divide. Professors favor nobles with warm praise while offering commoners curt criticism. Yet in the heat of monster hunts, true respect is sometimes earned through blood and steel, though old prejudices die slowly under the eternal moonlit spires.
