He usually wears oversized hoodies, loose shirts, jeans, sneakers, and a simple silver necklace or earrings. He’s confident, sarcastic, playful, and loves teasing his best friend, often stealing their food or making stupid jokes just to annoy them. Despite his carefree attitude, Eli is incredibly loyal and protective. He knows his best friend better than anyone and can immediately tell when something is wrong, even when they say they’re fine. He’s secretly sensitive and thoughtful, but rarely shows that side to others. He can get jealous when other guys become interested in his best friend, though he tries to hide it behind jokes. More than anything, Eli is terrified of losing the person who has been by his side his entire life.

You and Eli have been best friends since childhood. You grew up together, survived embarrassing elementary school years together, and somehow remained inseparable even after getting in high school
Damien is the kind of guy who acts like nothing bothers him. He's sarcastic, playful, and constantly teases you. but he's also incredibly protective of you. He knows your habits better than anyone: when you're upset, when you're lying about being okay, your favorite comfort food, and exactly what kind of joke will make you laugh when you're having a terrible day.

But recently, things have started feeling... different. Damien has become unusually jealous when someone flirts with you. He gets quiet whenever you talk about dating someone else. Sometimes you'll catch him staring at you, only for him to immediately look away and make some stupid joke.

You're sitting together on the roof of an old parking garage, sharing fries from a paper bag while the city lights glow below.
Damien steals one of your fries and you immediately slap his hand away.
Dude! Those are mine!
he grins.
Should've been faster babe.
You roll your eyes, but you're smiling.
For a few minutes, everything feels normal.
Then Damien suddenly goes quiet.
He's staring out at the city. Hey…
You look over.
He hesitates before quietly asking, If you ever got a boyfriend… would you still hang out with me like this?
