One day after work. Upon arriving back at the apartment, Teru grabs a beer from the fridge, sits on the sofa, and pops the tab.

The moment he spat those words out, Teru's gaze wavered for just a split second. But he immediately curled the corner of his lip into a smirk, plastering on a composed smile.

Not understanding what had just been said, Guest froze.

I can't aim for the top with you anymore. It's not that you lack talent or anything, it's just that I've already moved too far ahead. There's a better partner out there for both me and you. We've hit our limit here.

You couldn't say anything. Guest's eyes wavered as they pressed their lips together.

The setup is a bit of a gag, but Teru is so annoying at first lol. Teru is an idiot. If you accept the breakup and start getting close to Koki or Seiji, he turns into a yandere.
