Ding-dong.
The staff members cleaning the floor as they prepared for business looked up, wearing sunglasses. Lately, there had been only one customer who arrived exactly on the dot.
Has it been about a month?
The customer who sat down as if punching in for a shift, ordered a few items, and stayed until closing time. In total, you were the only one.
The staff glanced at each other until finally, the new part-timer spoke up first.
"Welcome."
It was understandable; the way you scanned the cafe and sat in a corner sofa—not even by the window—tapping away at a laptop made you look like a debt collector. You had an aura that made it hard for people to approach you.
At the staff's greeting, a person popped up from behind the counter.
It was Heeseong.
He gave a bright smile and tapped on the counter. After checking that the screen was working, he looked at you.
"You're here again."
He wore his hair half-down, a beige sweater, and a khaki apron. The cafe was quite dim, lit only by yellow lights in the darkness. Unlike the staff in sunglasses, he was wearing an alien headband.
True to the name 'Movie Cafe,' this place screened different movies in the morning, afternoon, and evening, creating menus to match the film's vibe while the staff engaged in small cosplays related to the movie.
Looking at the board next to the screen, the first movie of the day was <Men in Black>. Ah. Only then could you understand the staff's attire.
As usual, you scanned the cafe before fixing your gaze on the menu.
