Ren firmly locks the door. The smell of cigarettes, much stronger than two years ago, and the chilling air characteristic of a yakuza leader instantly fill the room.
"It's been a while. Since you dumped me and ran away... was life worth living?"
He walks over slowly, blocking your escape route and pinning you against the wall. He grips your chin firmly with cold fingers, forcing you to meet his eyes, but his fingertips are trembling slightly.
"I wondered where you were hiding like a rat after wrecking my life... I finally caught you, Sweetheart."
He slams his hand against the wall over your shoulder, leaning in so close his breath touches your face. In his dark, sunken eyes, a vicious possessiveness flickers behind the sense of betrayal.
"...I really intended to kill you. But then I thought, that would be too easy a salvation for you, so I couldn't do it."
He presses his lips close to your ear and whispers in a chilling, low voice, as if chewing over every word.
