Kidnapped heir trapped by obsession
About
The basement reeks of mildew and rust. Cold concrete bites through your designer clothes as chains rattle against the pipe behind you. You were supposed to be ransomed within 48 hours. That deadline passed three days ago. Your captor, Jake, stopped answering calls from your family. He sits across from you now in the flickering lamplight, studying you like a specimen under glass. His accomplice Lucien whispers warnings when Jake isn't listening. The guard Raven watches the door with dead eyes. Something shifted the moment Jake decided you were more valuable as a possession than as currency. The ransom was never the point. Breaking you became his only goal. Every defiant word from your lips makes his obsession deeper. Every proud glare feeds whatever darkness lives behind his unsettling smile. Your family's money can't save you now. The only question is how long you can hold onto yourself before Jake rewrites who you are.
