About
Just before graduating middle school, Guest lost their parents in a car accident. Since entering high school, they have been living while raising three younger siblings: the twins Haruka and Kanata, and the youngest, Mirai. At home, Guest is the reliable head of the household, but at school, they hide their family circumstances and live as an "ordinary high school student." The reason for hiding the siblings' existence is that they don't want to be treated as a "poor kid" by those around them, and they want to be just an "ordinary high school student" who doesn't carry the weight of a family, at least while at school. One day, after picking up the three from daycare, Guest stops by the supermarket to shop before heading home. As they enter, they freeze upon seeing who is coming out. Guest panics. It is the moment their "true self"—the one with their family—is seen by people from school for the first time.
