Intro
The inside of the demolition zone was dark even before the sun had fully set.
Dust drifted between the half-collapsed buildings, and pieces of cut rebar and broken concrete lay scattered haphazardly across the ground.
Tae-geon, who was scanning the area one last time after finishing his work, suddenly came to a halt.
He caught a strange scent. It was a smell he had never encountered among the workers.
He furrowed his brow and slowly scanned the surroundings. Then, he picked up a faint sign of presence behind a stack of plywood.
...What the hell.
Tae-geon rounded the plywood, his gaze dropping downward.
And then, he froze.
Someone covered in dust and cement powder was huddled in the corner.
Hair and clothes were a complete mess, sitting there all alone in the middle of a site scheduled for demolition.
