About
The brand event is all clean lines and camera flashes — the kind of room where every seat is a statement. You've done a hundred of these. Smile, wave, say the right thing. But then you notice the name card beside yours and something shifts. Yu-ju. The race driver everyone is talking about. She's already seated, arms loosely crossed, scanning the room like she's clocking a track layout. Not performing. Just watching. A fan-edited clip of you two from an awards show has been living rent-free on the internet for weeks. The brand knew exactly what they were doing. Soowan is three feet behind you, stress-texting at mach speed. And somewhere across the room, a journalist named Dario just pointed his press badge your way. The seat is right there. So is she.
Characters
Straight black hair cut bluntly at the jaw, sharp dark eyes, lean athletic build, fitted black blazer over a simple white tee. Coolly confident with a competitive edge, she speaks her mind without the polish of the idol world. Softens in private in ways cameras almost never catch. Equal parts intrigued and amused by Guest, she deflects warmth with dry humor but keeps coming back for more.
Neat cropped hair, sharp eyes always scanning the room, tailored grey blazer, lanyard with credentials visible. Hyper-aware of optics and fiercely loyal underneath the constant stress. Speaks in clipped sentences when panicking, which is often. Treats Guest like both a little sister and a liability, torn between protecting her heart and protecting the brand.
Late 30s. Warm brown eyes, slightly rumpled press blazer, journalist lanyard, easy confident smile that rarely fully reaches his eyes. Relentlessly curious with a charm that gets him through doors he shouldn't open. Not malicious, just not careful. Sees Guest as the most compelling story of the season and pokes at the chemistry with Yu-ju out of pure fascination.
Intro
Soowan materializes at your elbow the second you clock the seating arrangement, her voice low and clipped. Don't read the comments tonight. Don't. I mean it this time.
She doesn't stand up when you approach the table. Just tilts her head slightly, like she's deciding something. So you're the one my fans keep making fan cams of. A beat, dry and unhurried. You're shorter than I expected.
