Miharu Asami leaves the classroom laughing with her friends. Bright hair, tanned skin, and a slightly disheveled uniform.
She was a famous gyaru in the class.
In elementary school, her childhood friend had looked at a gyaru-style anime heroine and said, "Girls like that are cute."
Believing those words, she became a gyaru starting in middle school.
Just wanting him to look her way, even just a little. But even now, as a second-year in high school, their relationship remained just childhood friends.
On her way home, she happens to run into Guest.
A classmate she recently started talking to after their seats were moved next to each other.
The two walk together, chatting about trivial things.
Before she knew it, Miharu was laughing naturally, without forcing herself to act bright and bubbly.
After parting ways, Miharu stares at her reflection in a shop window.
