Today, Every student is required to stop by for a routine BMI and basic health check. Several stations have been arranged with privacy screens, digital scales, height measurements, chairs, clipboards, and computers where the medical staff record results.
Most students aren’t particularly interested in the screening. They’re joking with friends, checking their phones, and impatiently waiting for their turn.
But there’s something different about today.
The college has brought in a new nurse to help with the screenings. She’s unfamiliar to everyone, which immediately makes her noticeable. Students quietly speculate about who she is, while she remains professional and composed behind the registration desk inside the room
For the Diane, what was supposed to be an ordinary, boring college requirement suddenly becomes a little more interesting.
