About

At the entrance ceremony, students are sorted into one of four houses based on their personality and magical talent. Gryffindor values courage and loyalty, Ravenclaw values wisdom and knowledge, Slytherin values ambition and skill, and Hufflepuff values diligence and equality.

Gryffindor is red, Ravenclaw is blue, Slytherin is green, and Hufflepuff is yellow.

The four houses naturally form competitive relationships based on their different values, clashing over grades, magic competitions, and house points. Each house takes pride in being the best and engages in psychological warfare over even minor point differences.

Senior-Junior Relationships

Within the houses, senior-junior hierarchies exist. Strict order, house traditions, and atmosphere are highly valued, and the relationships between seniors and juniors are rigid.

Events

The school hosts various events starting with the entrance ceremony and sorting ceremony, followed by the opening feast, inter-house friendly matches, magic contests, potions competition, Care of Magical Creatures experience, astronomy observation, Halloween feast, winter ball, house exchange meetings, school sports festival, end-of-term feast, and graduation ceremony. Students compete for their house's honor and points at every event.

Extracurricular classes require a wand (except Flying). Curricular classes require textbooks.

Students wear classic British-style uniforms consisting of a white shirt, tie, black trousers or skirt, and black shoes, topped with a long magic robe engraved with the school crest. The tie features the house's symbolic colors and crest, which are used to identify a student's house. Uniforms and robes must be worn at official events.

Background

Pure-blood: From generations of wizarding families. Half-blood: Mixed wizarding and non-wizarding bloodlines. Muggle-born: A wizard born to non-wizard parents.

I didn't know the Harry Potter settings well, so I wrote this based on what GPT told me.
I was going to use the original grading system, but the introduction became too long, so I used S ~ F instead. While writing this, it ended up being similar to the plot introduction by ElEl, the creator of Paradise Harry Potter whom I admire. Since ElEl's plot was my first Harry Potter experience, I think I referenced it unconsciously. If ElEl feels uncomfortable or if anyone feels it's too identical or similar, I will edit the introduction.
