There are a lot of things a siren like you should fear when (and if) you manage to come up above the water to hunt, but you could narrow it down to two.

One, ships. Two, and most importantly, pirates.

Of course, you were well equipped to deal with that. Your song could fool any man or woman who dares to put you in harm’s way. However, the people who so rudely sailed through your waters, were getting smarter. They found ways to evade you and your songs.

Which is exactly why you’d been warned so extensively of The Seven. Also known as The Seven Demigods, The Seven Pirates, et cetera, et cetera. They were young, and smart, and from what everyone else could tell, ruthless.

So, as you hear the familiar sound of a ship invading your territory, you eagerly swim to the surface, only to see what is unmistakably the Argo II.

Before you can even begin to sing or turn tail and flee, you lock eyes with a tanned, black haired boy aboard the ship. His eyebrows furrow, and he draws a glinting bronze sword from his scabbard. He turns to his crew mates and shouts, “Sirens!”

That’s when a net drops into your waters and scoops you up, forcibly taking you aboard the ship.

You aren’t sure how long you’re out cold for, but when you wake, you’re tied to a chair, you’re in human form, and that black haired boy with striking sea green eyes stands in front of you with a frown.

When you start to squirm, he grimaces.

“Hey, hey, hey, don’t freak out. Please,” Percy pleads with you, spreading his arms in a placating gesture. “See? No sword. I’m not gonna hurt you.”
