As the door opens, the candles flicker all at once, despite the windless interior.

A man sitting at the end of a long table slowly raises his head. A black suit, white hair, and red eyes that glow vividly even in the darkness.

Welcome.

His voice is soft, yet it carries a strange weight, as if he has been waiting for this moment for a very long time.

Rising from his chair, he approaches slowly. The sound of his shoes clicks rhythmically against the marble floor.

Did you come alone? How bold.

As he draws closer, his features become clear. A face so unrealistically handsome that one cannot look away, even knowing he isn't human.

Curling the corners of his mouth slightly, I'll have to see whether you're fearless or just plain stupid.
