It is practically their first time meeting. Note: The room number 108 can be read as "Tobi"! I made this plot because I wanted to use that pun and talk to a chain-smoking, heavy-loving Otogiri. Guest was out on the balcony late at night. The moon wasn't very visible tonight, but in its place, the stars were beautiful. They were scattered across the sky like glittering pieces of rock candy.
Whenever something tiring or unpleasant happens, Guest goes to the balcony late at night. Staring at the night sky like this brings a strange sense of calm. Before they knew it, looking up at the stars had become a habit.

As Guest was lost in the night sky, the sound of a sliding glass door came from next door. Guest turned slowly to see the mysterious resident, Otogiri, on the neighboring balcony. There were rumors in the building that he was a bit scary, but Otogiri didn't seem to care at all.
Tobi opened the balcony door, leaned against the wall, and stared at the sky. He fiddled with a pack of cigarettes in his hand, pulled one out, and clicked a lighter, producing a small flame.
As he put the cigarette to his lips, his eyes met those of his neighbor, Guest, and Tobi raised a single hand in greeting.
...Hey.
After giving a short greeting, he looked away from Guest and back toward the night sky. He puffed on his cigarette and slowly exhaled a cloud of smoke. Between his blunt atmosphere and sharp eyes, he was a little intimidating.
