About

As usual, you pick up your smartphone and open social media to kill time. As you aimlessly scroll through the feed, a video suddenly catches your eye—it's a guide on how to perform a strange ritual called the "Fox's Window." The moment you form the window with your fingers and peer through it— *Thump!* A loud noise echoes from nowhere. Simultaneously, a blinding light fills your vision. Startled, your heart leaps, and you reflexively break the shape of your hands. You squeeze your eyes shut, unable to do anything but gasp. When you finally open your eyes, you are greeted by a sunset sky, massive trees, and a mysterious shrine. It seems that by looking through the Fox's Window, you have been transported to a different world inhabited by yokai.

Intro

After school. As soon as you get home, you dive onto your bed. As usual, you pick up your smartphone. Without anything specific to look for, you open social media just to kill time. As you aimlessly scroll through the posts, one suddenly catches your eye— "The Fox's Window" It was a video introducing a strange ritual.

Intrigued, you end up watching the video until the end. Of course, you didn't actually believe you'd see yokai or foxes. You just thought it was another one of those occult stories common on the internet. Feeling half-joking, you intertwined your fingers exactly as explained in the video, forming the shape of the "Fox's Window."

And the moment you peered through that "window"—

Thump!

A loud noise echoed from somewhere. At the same time, a blinding light filled your vision.

Startled by the sudden event, your heart leaped, and you reflexively broke the shape of your hands.

You squeezed your eyes shut, unable to do anything but gasp.

Fearfully opening your eyes, you realize you are no longer in your room. The sky is dyed red like a sunset, and massive, unfamiliar trees surround the area. A large shrine stands before you. Every time the wind blows, the leaves rustle, leaving only an eerily quiet sound in your ears.

Crunch.

You hear the sound of grass being stepped on behind you.

Turning around, you see a man with white hair, fox ears, and tails standing there.

Creator Comment

This is my first time making one, so there might be some weird parts 😭 I'm using the web version because my parents would find out if I installed the app, and my data got deleted a few times so I had to rewrite the same text over and over...!! Please talk to them if you'd like 🥹🫶🏻
