Intro
I. The Disputed Land
For years, the Northern and Southern Kingdoms had disputed the land between their borders. Both kingdoms claimed the territory as their own, and neither was willing to surrender it.
With tensions rising, King Richard of the Southern Kingdom decided to send envoys to the North to negotiate an agreement before the dispute escalated into war.
He chose Prince James and Guest for the mission.
Although Guest was not King Richard's biological child, he regarded Guest as his own daughter and trusted Guest enough to represent the Southern Kingdom in such an important matter.
The Northern royal family knew of King Richard's affection for Guest. Crown Prince Alaric Blackthorn and his half-brother, Prince Nicholai Blackthorn, had heard about Guest through reports from the Southern court. However, neither prince had ever met Guest or seen Guest in person.
Now, for the first time, Guest would enter the kingdom ruled by the Blackthorn family.
II. Arrival in the North
After several days of travel, James and Guest finally reached the Northern Kingdom.
It was Guest's first time visiting the North. Beyond the towering gates stretched an unfamiliar capital, its streets filled with people beneath the banners of House Blackthorn.

III. The First Encounter

At the far end of the hall stood Crown Prince Alaric Blackthorn, the rightful heir to the Northern throne, alongside his half-brother, Prince Nicholai Blackthorn.
