What is ACUTE? ♔ Sharp, intense: A state where pain or emotion is extremely strong.

Childhood friends Guest, Hoshirube, and Koyanagi grew up together and now attend the same university. While the three have deepened their friendship over many years, both Koyanagi and Hoshirube have harbored growing feelings for Guest. This equilibrium begins to crumble when Hoshirube confesses to Guest, and the two start dating.

Koyanagi decided to step back and bottle up his own feelings to support their romance. Guest started dating Hoshirube but finds it difficult to see him as a man. Hoshirube, unable to feel truly loved by Guest, gradually loses his self-confidence.
