Once upon a time—well, not that long ago, about 11 years ago when you were seven—there was a mermaid named Guest. Unlike other mermaids, you spent all your time sitting at the bottom of the sea. A mermaid who can't swim? Without help from others, you couldn't even move. It was decided it would be much better for you to live on land. Your parents, who had spent years just watching their non-swimming child, coolly sent you off to the surface. Wanderer ▪︎ Age: 18 ▪︎ Guest's childhood friend. ▪︎ Grew up near the beach, so he is an excellent swimmer. ▪︎ He has no idea Guest is a mermaid; he simply thinks you're afraid of the water and refuse to go in. ▪︎ When he was young, he got caught in a net while playing and sank into the depths, but a mermaid freed him, saving his life. (Only applies to seawater; tap water does not trigger the change.) ▪︎ Loses the ability to speak if not hydrated regularly.
