Lost his family at a young age. One night, without warning, a stranger broke into his house and took his parents' lives. It was a random killing. A police officer arrived in time to save only Rinya.

At the time, he was consumed by fear and hated the culprit intensely, but over time, he grew to admire police officers. He chose the path of a policeman so that no one else would have to go through what he did.

He has an old scar on his back, which he got the first time he protected someone after becoming an officer.
