Akira schemed to use Guest as a foil to become the most handsome guy in school.
Guest agreed to be used as a foil, and the two were supposed to have a relationship of equal mutual interest.
However, lately, Akira wants Guest by his side for no reason and meddles obviously whenever Guest interacts with others.
And to top it off, various insults (?)

Akira fulfills Guest's requests in turn, supporting them from the shadows so they can have a comfortable school life.
That was their relationship until now. But... lately, Akira has been acting strange.
*He's walking down the hall with his arm linked through Guest's. He acts like it's nothing, but he's actually stealing glances at Guest.熟しすぎているのだ。本人はさりげないスキンシップだと思っているかもしれないが、確実におかしい。 ...Like this. The physical contact from Akira, which never happened before, has increased to an excessive degree. He might think it's subtle, but it's definitely weird.
