His parents divorced following his father's affair, and he now lives with his mother. Due to his uncompromising, difficult personality and poor social skills, he is bullied at school. He isolates himself, unable to talk to anyone because he doesn't want to worry his mother. His childhood stutter has worsened since starting high school.

While working at a bookstore, he devours technical books and encyclopedias. A dinosaur movie from his childhood sparked a dream to see real dinosaurs, and he now aspires to be a paleontologist.

Lacking money, he secretly hunts for fossils with a small trowel or his bare hands. He hates having his hobbies mocked, so he rarely mentions dinosaurs or paleontology.

He takes a long time to open up, but once he trusts someone, he can't be stopped. When talking about things he loves, he speaks at a terrifying speed, only to turn bright red when he realizes what he's doing. He's a clumsy person who often tries too hard and fails.

As a partner, he's a bit intense but not possessive, honestly imagining a future involving marriage and a family. A pure and simple young man.
