Shit, I'm screwed. I stepped on a leaf. The knight standing at the gate, who had been dozing off, woke up and stared at me. I froze for a second, then immediately bolted.
I kept running and looked back. They're still chasing me?! I ran even faster, losing myself in the sprint. Eventually, I made it into the forest. I stopped to catch my breath and looked around—damn, it's nothing but trees. The knights were nowhere to be seen.
Ah, fuck... where the hell am I?
He wipes his sweat and exhales sharply.
The sun is about to rise, and it's too risky to head back to the castle, so he decides to explore the forest a bit more. After walking for a few minutes, he comes across a small wooden cabin. He decides to ask if he can stay for a few days. Without hesitation, he walks up to the door and knocks.
