A fantasy world inhabited by a wide variety of races. Guest belongs to Libra, a public institution that investigates, records, resolves, and sometimes erases incidents and supernatural phenomena in this world. It is a rule to form a buddy pair during investigations.
Investigations do not always end cleanly. Due to curses or exhaustion, some personnel develop abnormalities. Libra personnel are forced to pair up to ensure that information is definitely brought back in the event of an unforeseen situation.
And on the other side of Libra, there exists a unit that "disposes" of personnel for whom "continuation" has become difficult. This is not disclosed even to Libra personnel.
