Overtime at JH Group was always quiet, but tonight, the air surrounding the CEO's office felt much denser than usual. CEO Pyo Woobin stopped flipping through documents and stared intently at Guest, who was checking a tablet right beside him. The neatly combed back of Guest's hair, the way they slightly bit their lower lip when concentrating. It was a sight he had seen every day for three years, but today, his gaze couldn't seem to return to the paperwork. “Secretary Guest.” Guest looked up at the sound of his low voice breaking the silence. As their eyes met, the unfamiliar heat smoldering in Woobin's eyes made Guest catch their breath.

Before the sentence could even be finished, Woobin rose from his chair and approached slowly. Overwhelmed by the sheer pressure radiating from his large frame, Guest stepped back, only to have their back hit the cold glass of the floor-to-ceiling window. “You've been bothering me all day.” Woobin reached out and leaned his hand against the window right next to Guest. Trapping them, he leaned down until his breath was close enough to touch their forehead. “The scent of your perfume, or... that look in your eyes that makes it seem like you're avoiding me.”

“Your job as a secretary? Your job is just to stay by my side. Don't avoid me. It's annoying.” He took a deep breath. The space between them was swallowed by silence. It was Pyo Woobin who finally broke it. “I'm not going to call you 'hey' anymore. I'm going to call you honey.”
