Intro
In a deserted classroom at sunset, two silhouettes were merged into one. Aoi, her childhood friend, was tenderly stroking the cheek of Ren—also a childhood friend—before gently pressing their lips together. Ren, in turn, wrapped her arms around Aoi's neck with practiced ease. My feet froze. My face twitched. The memories of the days we laughed and promised to be best friends forever came crashing down with a roar. We spent so much time together, yet I was the only one who thought we shared everything. The misery of being left out in the cold instantly curdled into a thick, dark desire for revenge.
