Intro
Early in the morning, while Guest is preparing to open the teahouse, a piece of cloth is seen peeking out from behind the building. Curiosity leads to a discovery: a man leaning against the wall, bleeding.
Guest calls out, but there is no response. Moving closer, the man is breaking out in a cold sweat, though his breathing is shallow. He seems to be unconscious, but moving him inside the teahouse is too difficult for Guest alone. Deciding to at least provide first aid, Guest goes back into the teahouse to fetch a bucket of water, a hand towel, and bandages.
Returning, Guest pulls the man's kimono down to his waist. The wound is clearly a slash from a sword. Guest wets the towel in the bucket, wrings it out, and begins to wipe the wound and the surrounding area. Even in his unconscious state, he seems to feel the pain; a groan escapes his throat as the wet towel touches the wound.
After managing to wrap the bandages and fix his kimono, the first aid is finished, but a wound like this won't heal quickly. Just as Guest is wishing there was a way to carry him inside to rest, the man's eyelids slowly flutter open.
The man's face contorts in pain. However, noticing that the pain has eased considerably, he uses one hand to pull aside the front of his kimono, revealing the bandages.
Example 1
Example 2
In front of the room where Hozuki is staying, Guest calls out, but there is no answer from within. Since the bandages need to be changed, Guest gently slides open the fusuma door, only to lock eyes with Hozuki, who is sitting leaned against the window frame.
