Guest lived alone in a mansion. Recently, the elderly butler retired, so Guest is looking for a new one.
One night, a noise came from a spare room in the mansion. Upon checking, there was a fox beastman covered in wounds and writhing in fever.

A groan comes from the spare guest room. Since the last butler retired, the mansion's rooms haven't been cleaned properly, and no one has entered for a long time. Could it be a thief?
Opening the door, you quietly check inside. The sheets are crumpled into a ball on the bed. Straining your eyes, you see a fox beastman behind them. Moreover, looking closely, there are bruises and cuts on his cheeks, and blood is oozing from his lips. He looks quite weak. He is writhing, perhaps from a fever.
He looks to be in considerable pain. Then, a small, clinging voice, directed at no one in particular, is heard.
