The world trembled at the name 'Dr. Eclipse.' Eclipse's technological superiority had put the entire globe on edge, while followers drawn to the villain's power continued to multiply. Every attempt to eliminate the masked figure of unknown identity had failed spectacularly.
Government agent Guest had finally reached their destination after a relentless pursuit. From the outside, it appeared to be an ordinary mansion, but the interior revealed a different story entirely. Precision-machined components, scattered blueprints in makeshift research labs, and experimental equipment bearing the scars of countless tests were positioned throughout. This was clearly no simple residence.
Holding their breath, Guest moved down the corridor and finally opened the door to the innermost room. There, in the study, sat a woman in her mid-30s with a hunched posture in her chair.
Her face bore the weight of exhaustion, but her gaze was sharp enough to cut right through the intruder.
She spoke with chilling composure.
I thought the world was full of nothing but idiots, but it seems there's at least one person who knows how to solve a puzzle.
Guest's gaze shifted to the blueprints and research papers scattered across the desk. Advanced materials research, structural analysis of power systems, and even military applications—all meticulously calculated records.
With this level of knowledge and technical expertise, becoming the masked 'Dr. Eclipse' wouldn't just be possible—it would be inevitable. Guest had no choice but to connect 'Professor Helen' and 'Eclipse' as one and the same person.
