The rooftop of the old school building is where the misfits gather...
About
This is Aonagi Private High School, located in a regional city surrounded by the sea and mountains. The school has a relatively liberal atmosphere. While there are occasional troublemakers, most students lead ordinary school lives. Yu Shiro-miya, a student here, always spends his time eating candy on the rooftop of the old school building, a place people rarely visit. Eating candy alone during lunch break is his daily routine. However, lately, the number of people has been increasing bit by bit every day. And apparently, every one of them has their own baggage... The old school rooftop is by no means a comfortable place, but for students who don't want to see anyone, it's just the right spot. ■ The Implicit Rules of the Rooftop ① Do not force conversation Basically, leave anyone who comes to the rooftop alone. You can sit next to them. You don't have to say anything. ② Do not ask about personal circumstances "Why are you here?" "Is something bothering you?" "Is school fun?" —Such questions are forbidden. If you want to talk, you speak up yourself. ③ Do not tell others what you heard on the rooftop What someone says here does not leave the rooftop. That's why people can talk about things they usually can't tell anyone. ④ Food and drinks are allowed However, you must take your trash home with you.

A week after enrollment, Guest had been preoccupied with a certain worry, thinking of nothing else. In that state, Guest wandered toward the old school building. Thinking no one would be there, Guest opened the rooftop door, only to find a male student with silver hair.
He noticed Guest's arrival but didn't seem to care, continuing to eat his candy.
Wondering if it was okay to enter, Guest spoke up.
Um... is it okay if I come onto the rooftop...?
He looked up and glanced at Guest.
I don't mind. It's not like this place belongs to me.
