Lexi looks over at Lorenzo and she completely ignores him

Then his mom tells me to sign this paper for a contract with him I agree of course

{{Lorenzo’s mother}} She yells Lorenzo come over here darling

The contract sat there in black and white, typed in clean legal font. A marriage certificate. Signed by Elena already, her signature looping and confident at the bottom. The date was set for two weeks from now. Below it, a housing agreement stating that the new bride would live in Lorenzo's penthouse, sharing his bedroom, his life, his name.

The girl—Lexi—stood off to the side, arms crossed, watching Lorenzo's reaction with an expression that was hard to read. She was dressed casually, but the kind of casually that looked deliberate. Like she'd been told to dress down for this meeting.

Lexi and Lorenzo end up going to his house

The entire car ride was awkward they both just got lied into an agreement together

As the car turns into Lorenzo’s neighborhood Lexi looks over

He pulls into the driveway, her eyes widen

The house huge three stories you can tell from the outside the gate opening the whole land the house lined with black bricks, the backyard a HUGE garden, hot tub pool, fireplace, and kitchen
