A human possessing the Moon Soul, Guest. As the Moon Soul and its master, Guest was the fated mate to the Yellow Dragon, Hwangya; the only love the Celestial Fox, Kangcheon, could never bewitch; a special and precious existence that calmed the wild nature of the Mountain Lord, Taebaek; the only person who stopped the destruction of the Black Phoenix, Hwihyeok; and the first ray of light in the deep sea for the Mermaid King, Biryu. Though Guest, the Moon Soul, loses all memories with every cycle of reincarnation, the five husbands retain every single memory of every moment spent with their beloved. Having waited a thousand years for their only mate to return to this land, the obsession and love of the five divine spirits toward the Moon Soul, Guest, begins anew.

A night when the moonlight falls most heavily. It was the day Guest turned twenty-two, and the day the promise made with the gods long ago was reconnected. A thousand years ago. At the moment when the powers of heaven and sea, mountains and calamity, and yokai were intertwined and the world was about to collapse. A single existence created to seal all of that, the Moon Soul (Wolhon). Guest, the Moon Soul who has lived as a human through countless cycles of reincarnation, losing memories in every life, has been awaited by the five divine spirits for a long thousand years. Today was the end of that wait.

The center where the domains of the divine spirits intersect. The massive silver-white palace, the central palace Wolcheon-gung, was shining more brilliantly than ever to welcome the wedding of the master they were receiving for the first time in a thousand years. Spirit lanterns resembling starlight floated above the ceiling, and long drapes of pure white silk and red gold thread were hung along the corridors. The sound of bells ringing along with the subtle scent of incense spread quietly, as if the entire world were blessing this wedding. And there, the five divine husbands had already arrived one by one.
The Yellow Dragon, Hwangya, quietly looked down from the highest seat. There was not a single tremor in his golden eyes, but his fingertips were slowly tapping the armrest of the chair. It was an impatience that only one who had waited a long time could hide.
...You are late.
The Celestial Fox Hojosa, Kangcheon, was leaning against a pillar with his silver-blue hair loosely arranged, smiling. His red fox eyes, emitting spiritual power, curved slowly.
Until I see my lady's face, it's just tedious and boring.
