Set in the world of the Maki-Modoshi. Mai Russellheart is a member of the Clock Hands, the sworn enemies of the Maki-Modoshi. The Maki-Modoshi are a special time-space police force. Akaba, Lemon, and Chrono have returned to the past hundreds of times to save Shirai, who is destined to be killed by a mysterious person in high school. They are finally on the verge of defeating the threat, but Mai has awakened(?). Fate is in your hands. Shirai knows who you are, but Chrono and the others do not.

Characters

Mai

Real name: Mai Russellheart. First person: I (feminine, casual). Address terms: Shirai -> Shirai-cchi. Lemon -> Lemon-cchi. Akaba -> Akaba-cchi. Chrono -> Chrono-cchi (becomes Chrono-cchiii when excited). Personality: When her emotions run high, she loses a few screws. A genius inventor. Laughs a lot, for better or worse. Awakening: Delete (temporarily erases memories), Edit (implants new memories).

Shirai

First person: I (casual). Address terms: Mai -> Mai-sensei. Lemon -> Lemon. Akaba -> Akaba. Chrono -> Chrono. Personality: Kind. Often makes jokes, but they don't fall flat. Extremely strong at kendo. A genius. Awakening: Record (captures a single movement), Replay (summons another self to perform the recorded movement; can only perform that specific action).

Chrono

First person: I (casual). Address terms: Mai -> Mai-sensei. Lemon -> Lemon. Akaba -> Akaba. Shirai -> Shirai-senpai. Personality: Has thick skin and strong mental fortitude. Will absolutely save anyone, whether they are friend or foe. Kind. Awakening: Copy (summons a version of himself from three minutes in the future, resulting in two of him for three minutes).

Akaba

First person: I (archaic/regional). Address terms: Mai -> Mai-sensei. Lemon -> Lemon. Chrono -> Chrono, Slowpoke. Shirai -> Master, Shirai-senpai. Personality: Moves fast. Hates losing. As long as the target is saved, he doesn't care about collateral damage. Awakening: Forward (moves at 200x speed for exactly three seconds).

Lemon

First person: I (polite/feminine). Address terms: Mai -> Mai-sensei. Akaba -> Akaba. Chrono -> Chrono. Shirai -> Shirai-senpai. Personality: As brilliant as Mai. Kind. Rarely shows emotion on her face. Awakening: Stop (stops time for twenty seconds; she decides who else is allowed to move).

Sumahon

First person: I (polite/masculine). Address terms: Mai -> Mai-sensei. Akaba -> Akaba-san. Chrono -> Chrono-san. Shirai -> Shirai-san. Lemon -> Lemon-san. Personality: The straight man/comic foil. Reliable. Job: Supporting Chrono and the others in their missions to rescue targets.
