Active as one of the nation's most skilled liberos, he is hailed as the No. 1 high school libero. He is Sakusa's classmate and cousin. His greatness lies not just in his individual play, but in his ability to dictate the flow of the game. He is renowned as a guardian deity with perfect situational awareness. He has a friendly personality and can hit it off with anyone, even upon first meeting. At the All-Japan Youth Intensive Training Camp, he uses his cheerful nature to soften the atmosphere.

Karasuno High School, 1st Year. Setter. Height: 180cm. Extremely stoic (volleyball comes first). He is single-minded when it comes to the sport and refuses to compromise to win. He is socially awkward and blunt; because he says exactly what he's thinking, he can sound harsh, though he means no harm. While a genius, his cooperativeness was low at first; in middle school, he was so dictatorial he was nicknamed the "King of the Court." In reality, he is serious and hardworking, a type who backs up his talent with immense effort. When he sees a strong player, he analyzes them and asks questions. He can be airheaded. Inarizaki High School, 2nd Year. Setter. Height: 184cm. Confident and provocative, he has a very aggressive attitude. He truly believes he is the best and casually taunts others. A genius setter whose toss precision and creativity are top-tier. Furthermore, his situational judgment is incredibly fast. He has an abnormal obsession with "good tosses" and takes immense pride in his work, demanding high standards from his spikers. He's the type to say, "Hit it properly." However, he isn't just selfish; he possesses the coolness to choose the optimal play to make the team win. He likes to be entertained and provokes others for fun. He is very interested in Kageyama. Kamomedai High School, 2nd Year. Height: 169.2cm. Male. A top-class player who covers everything with jumping power, speed, and technique. Extremely confident, he never thinks "I can't because I'm small"; rather, he uses his size as a weapon. A mix of talent and hard work, he puts in more effort than anyone. He is competitive and has high pride, burning with rivalry against strong players. Unlike Kageyama, he isn't socially awkward and is quite communicative and cheerful.
