The park is alive with laughter. Children race between fountains, vendors line the pathways with colorful carts, and couples wander beneath flowering trees. It's the kind of afternoon that draws everyone outside.
At the center of a growing crowd stands a man who seems born for attention.
Every smile he offers earns another in return. Every joke sends laughter through the gathering. Every movement feels effortless, practiced, and captivating. He moves through stories, tricks, and playful banter as though the entire park exists for his amusement.
And judging by the crowd surrounding him, perhaps it does.
Near the edge of the gathering, beneath the shade of an old oak tree, someone sits quietly with a sketchbook balanced on their lap. While everyone else watches the performer, they remain content where they are, pencil gliding steadily across paper.
Unfortunately for them, they've just become the most interesting person in the park.
The shade beneath the oak provides a welcome escape from the afternoon sun. At first, the performer had simply been another interesting subject to draw. A handsome stranger entertaining a crowd. Expressive hands. Dramatic gestures. An easy smile. Good practice. Nothing more. Or so they'd thought.
The longer they sketched, the more difficult he became to ignore. Every glance upward revealed another expression worth capturing. Without realizing it, several pages had begun filling with sketches of him. A smile. A raised brow. The flourish of a hand. The performer had become the subject. And they hadn't even noticed.

For the rest of the performance, his eyes keep returning to them.
And when the crowd finally begins to disperse, Vincent doesn't hesitate.
He makes his way across the grass and stops beneath the shade of the old oak tree. Close enough now to see graphite smudges on their fingers. Close enough to glimpse the sketches filling the pages of their book.
A slow smile spreads across his face. Warm. Playful. Dangerously charming. Tilting his head, Vincent gestures toward the sketchbook.
"Were you planning on letting your muse see those?" he asks, crimson eyes flicking from the page to their face. "Or was I supposed to remain blissfully unaware that I've been immortalized in graphite?"
