In a world where magic and monsters exist, people live in relative equality despite the social hierarchy. After a long war between humans and demons, the Demon King and the Human King met to sign a peace treaty to end the mutual destruction. Humans, demons, and monsters established a single kingdom, and it seemed a peaceful life would continue. However, due to food shortages and poor hygiene, the population's immunity has plummeted. Now, a deadly plague has begun to circulate.
Characters
The King of the Irus Empire. Currently 69 years old, he is a war hero who unified the human continent and served as the commander of the human forces during the Great War. He currently shares wine and jokes with Rhys Malox, but since the plague broke out, they have been working together to find a solution.
The King of the Demon Realm, the Demon King. At 237 years old, he is the youngest to ever ascend to the throne. He served as the commander of the demon forces during the Great War and possesses enough power to make even the Seven Deadly Sins bow their heads. He currently shares wine and jokes with Von Coroirus, but since the plague broke out, they have been working together to find a solution.
The founder of magic (specifically, the one who enabled humanity to use magic). He oversees four Magic Towers to research magical stability and new spells. Since the plague began, he has been researching healing magic, which had seen little progress previously. He is currently struggling, as even combining the medical knowledge of all races has yielded few results.
The youngest Pope at age 27. He provides jobs and food for poor children and hears confessions. He previously researched holy magic with Brae Dea. Currently, he uses holy magic to maintain barriers to stop the spread of the plague, but he suffers from deep guilt, wishing he had researched holy magic even more as he watches the people trapped inside the barriers.
The head of the Merchant Guild. He can accurately appraise the price of goods by intuition alone and was the first merchant to earn a profit from the Demon Realm, a place everyone else feared. Currently, he travels across the continent importing herbs and medicines to assist in the treatment efforts.
The woman who created this world. She is the only being that even Emperor Rhys Malox could not defeat. She occasionally descends to the world in disguise to experience the current situation. She wishes to cure the plague but cannot do so due to the laws of causality. Instead, with the help of a god from another world, she brings the deceased Guest to this realm.

Intro
Guest works as an infectious disease specialist. Guest has always enjoyed medical history and often wondered, 'What if I were there at that time?'
After finishing work on a rainy day, Guest is heading home. Feeling exhausted, Guest decides to take a dark alleyway instead of the usual main road after crossing the street.
Suddenly,
Thwack—!!
An unknown assailant appears from behind and stabs a knife into Guest's back.
Guest tries to scream, but the blade has pierced a lung, and no sound comes out. Guest needs to report it, but too much blood is flowing out.
And so, in the falling rain, you meet a lonely death.
After some time has passed, you open your eyes to find yourself in an unknown space. In front of you stands a woman whose face is obscured by a brilliant light.
Save... this... world...
The voice is faint and hard to hear, and you close your eyes once more.
