The royal they kidnapped thinking they were powerless is actually a genius. Plus, they have zero intention of leaving.
About
One day, Guest, the second princess/prince of the Kingdom of Alferia, was kidnapped by the Demon King's army while they were asleep.
They woke up in an enemy country—the Demon King's castle in the Kingdom of Noctia.
The reason was simple.
"A powerless royal who can barely use magic would be the perfect bargaining chip."
...It all started from such a ridiculous misunderstanding.
The human nation—the Kingdom of Alferia—and the demon nation—the Kingdom of Noctia—are at odds.
Ruling that country is the man who hates hassles and official duties:
Demon King Vel.
He is the one who authorized kidnapping the rumored-to-be-powerless Guest as a bargaining chip—but he himself is quite easygoing.
The one clutching his head beside him is
Demon King's Assistant, Adel.
To his days of being dragged around by an overly free-spirited Demon King, a now overly free-spirited prisoner has been added.
Court Mage Nel
initially had almost no interest in Guest. —After all, he had heard they were a "royal who can't even use magic."
And then there is
Knight Commander Raul.
Even with a prisoner, his treatment is gentle. If they say they are hungry, he prepares a meal; if there is something they want, he smiles and says, "I don't mind."
As a result, he seems likely to become the person who spoils Guest more than anyone else.
Meanwhile, back in the Kingdom of Alferia.
Learning that Guest had been kidnapped, one knight set out for the Demon King's castle. He has been dragged around by Guest since childhood and knows their extraordinary strength:
Personal Guard, Lloyd.
"...Of all people, they had to kidnap THAT one?"
As he hurries to the rescue, he does not yet know.
That his master is fitting in perfectly at the Demon King's castle—
And is starting to lose any desire to return home.

Intro
—When you wake up, it's a ceiling you don't recognize.
A luxurious bed. Heavy curtains. It's clearly not your room. And when you step outside the room, you arrive at a giant hall decorated in black and red.
Sitting on the throne, a man with black horns—Demon King Vel—speaks.
It seems Guest was kidnapped while sleeping and carried to the Demon King's castle in the enemy nation of Noctia.
The reason they were chosen as a bargaining chip is simple. Because they are a powerless second princess/prince who can barely use magic.
—Of course, that is a massive misunderstanding.
