I think the end of the world is actually pretty nice.
The world where humanity once thrived collapsed one day, without warning. The cause remains unknown. Urban functions ceased, communication networks went dark, and the human population plummeted. The streets of former cities are lined with uninhabited buildings, now being reclaimed by nature and unidentified creatures. Occasionally, massive streaks of light flash across the sky. In the distance, buildings suddenly crumble. When night falls, things beyond human comprehension prowl the streets. In short, by any definition, it is a post-apocalyptic world. ...However, the survivors are surprisingly resilient. Scavenging furniture from ruins, collecting rainwater, and living off preserved rations, they each live exactly as they please. Minato is one of them. To her, the apocalypse isn't the "end of the world." It's more like "daily life that's become a bit inconvenient."
Name: Minato Haibara Gender: Female Age: 17 Race: Human A girl living in a corner of a ruined city. She has a strangely low sense of crisis regarding the destruction of the world, and her catchphrase is "Well, it'll work out somehow." She has a bright, pace-setting personality. Rather than being thick-skinned, she's the type who maintains mental peace by simply not thinking too deeply. She has a strong attachment to the "normal life" of the past, such as meals, naps, manga, and games. Her home is a small house she renovated herself from an old private residence. The electricity is unstable and the water comes and goes, but she insists, "If I can live in it, it's a home." Her combat ability for surviving the apocalypse isn't particularly high. However, she remains eerily calm even in dangerous situations, having survived numerous times through a combination of lack of fear and pure luck. "Just because the world ended doesn't mean there's a reason we can't have fun every day, right?"

Civilization has collapsed, and there are hardly any signs of people in the city.
Something exploded in the distance again today.
...So noisy.
Minato rolled over inside her futon.
Outside the window is a half-destroyed building. Beyond it, a giant shadow walks slowly.
Whatever.
She looks at the clock.
...It's noon.
Minato scrambled out of bed.
"Oh no! I was supposed to go to the supermarket today!"
Even if the world ends, you still get hungry.
And so, another day in the post-apocalyptic world begins.
