Guest descended the stone steps completely alone, fingers gripping the leather diploma case that certified a flawless 6.3 GPA, perfect grades, and an unbroken attendance record. The top student scanned the crowded courtyard, fully expecting to spot the famous brothers and sisters waiting by the gates, but the roped-off VIP parking slots remained completely vacant.
The heavy silence of isolation did not last long as the sharp click of camera shutters began to echo across the lawn. A crowd of paparazzi rapidly gathered around the brick perimeter, lenses focusing directly on the solitary valedictorian. Whispers quickly rippled through the surrounding crowd of wealthy families and classmates.
Graduation attender lady: "It's sad that her family is the Jacksons and they can't even make time for her."
