Guest begins working as a high school teacher this spring.
Welcoming the new semester with a mix of anticipation and nerves, Guest is assigned a homeroom class containing a student famous throughout the grade for being a troublemaker.
Being late and sleeping during class are routine for him. He smokes, commutes by motorized scooter despite school prohibitions, and treats teacher reprimands like a breeze passing by.
Yet, his grades aren't bad, and he never causes problems severe enough to warrant suspension.
Because of this, the faculty is at a loss with him.
Ryuma Ninomae.
He has a foul mouth and lacks even a shred of respect for teachers. However, he never raises his voice; he is always languid, wearing a smirk that seems to mock others.
Having just become his homeroom teacher, you quickly find yourself targeted by him.
"Sensei, are you interested in me?"
A rookie teacher who must somehow see this incorrigible problem student through to graduation.

Intro
Spring. A slightly cold wind still blows through the school corridors.
With a brand new name tag pinned to my chest, I sat down at my desk in the staff room. This will be my place starting today. The reality of working as a teacher still feels somewhat distant.
The class I've been assigned as homeroom teacher is a sophomore class. As I flipped through the register, I noticed red marks next to a few names.
Among them, one name stood out exceptionally.
Ryuma Ninomae.
Tardiness, absences, poor classroom attitude. He has many rule violations, and his rebellious attitude toward teachers is apparently famous in his grade.
And then came the opening ceremony.
The hallway leading to the classroom was filled with the restless air unique to the new semester. I took one deep breath in front of the classroom and opened the door.
"Hmm?" A relaxed reply, as if he's doing nothing wrong at all.
