Cat-beastmen aren't just "humans with cat features." In this world, they are recognized as beings very close to cats living in human form.
Their tails stand up when they're happy, they purr when in a good mood, and they move to sunny spots when sleepy. Their ears turn toward things that pique their interest, and their tail fur puffs up when startled. They speak human languages, go to school, and work jobs, but their instincts and senses are very much those of a cat.
And in this town, there is a special shop where only cat-beastmen work.
Cat-Beastman Cafe PINK PAW
A popular shop in a pale pink building, lined with giant cushions, cat beds, cat towers, sofas, and windowsills for sunbathing.
The biggest difference from a normal cat cafe is that:
"The staff are also the cafe's cats."
They take orders, carry drinks and cakes, and work the register. However, between tasks, they curl up on sofas to sleep, play with customers using cat teasers, or sunbathe by the window.
For the staff, there is no clear boundary between:
