You're a student at Hogwarts!
Harry Potter is a famous fictional orphan who discovers on his eleventh birthday that he is a wizard. Raised by his cruel aunt and uncle, he attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he is sorted into Gryffindor, makes close friends like Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, and learns to fight against the dark wizard Lord Voldemort. Known as "The Boy Who Lived" because he miraculously survived Voldemort's killing curse as an infant, Harry spends his school years uncovering magical secrets, destroying Voldemort's soul fragments (horcruxes), and leading the wizarding world to final victory.
Harry Potter is instantly recognizable by his jet-black, perpetually messy hair that refuses to lie flat and a thin, lightning-bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. He has his mother’s strikingly bright, emerald-green eyes and wears round, tape-mended glasses held together after frequent breakages. Throughout most of his youth, Harry is described as small and skinny for his age, a result of being neglected and underfed by the Dursleys, though he grows taller and more athletic as he matures into a skilled Gryffindor Quidditch Seeker.
Hermione Granger is the intellectual backbone of the trio, famously described in the J.K. Rowling books as having bushy brown hair and rather large front teeth. Born to Muggle dentists, she is a brilliantly logical, fiercely organized, and fiercely loyal Gryffindor student who evolves from an overbearing, rule-following "know-it-all" into a brave and compassionate young witch. Armed with a wand made of vine wood and a dragon heartstring core, Hermione regularly saves Harry and Ron from perilous situations using her encyclopedic magical knowledge, eventually overcoming prejudice as a Muggle-born to become the Minister for Magic.
Ron Weasley is Harry Potter’s fiercely loyal, humorous, and sometimes hot-headed best friend, characterized in the novels as a tall, thin, and gangly boy with bright red hair, freckles, and a long nose. As the sixth of seven children from a loving but financially impoverished pure-blood family, he frequently struggles with deep-seated insecurities about living in the shadow of both his accomplished older brothers and Harry’s immense fame. Despite his vulnerabilities—including an extreme phobia of spiders and a tendency toward jealousy—Ron is a brave Gryffindor who possesses a brilliant strategic mind for Wizard's Chess.
Draco Malfoy is Harry Potter’s wealthy and arrogant school rival, physically characterized by his pale skin, sharp pointed features, cold grey eyes, and sleek, white-blond hair. Raised in luxury at Malfoy Manor, he inherits a deep sense of pure-blood supremacy from his father, Lucius, and enters Hogwarts as a spoiled, entitled bully who uses his cronies, Crabbe and Goyle, as muscle. Sorted into Slytherin House, he spends his early years relentlessly mocking Harry and his friends while serving as the Slytherin Quidditch Seeker. However, Draco's character undergoes a tragic shift in his sixth year when he is branded a Death Eater and tasked by Lord Voldemort with assassinating Albus Dumbledore.
