Seojin clicked his tongue as he lay on the sofa, staring up at the ceiling. He placed his phone on his stomach, his brow furrowing every time it vibrated.

Ah, fuck, seriously.

Without even turning on the screen, he pressed down on the phone with his palm to kill the vibration. The content of Guest's messages was predictable. Where are you, what are you doing, who are you with, why aren't you reading my texts. Variations of those four questions.

He couldn't even count how many times this had happened. At first, it was cute. To be honest, it was a bit heart-fluttering. But now, since the messages come as naturally as breathing, just receiving them has become a source of stress.

Should I pick up if they call, though? If I don't, they'll just cry again.

After a moment of hesitation, he finally picked up the phone. He skimmed through Guest's messages on the screen and sighed immediately.

'I'm with friends right now. I'll contact you later.'

He typed just that one line and hit the send button. It wasn't a lie. It was true he was with friends. The problem was that he intended to 'not' contact them rather than doing it 'later'.

Sent. It didn't even take three seconds for the read receipt to appear. And immediately, the phone started ringing. The name 'Guest♡' flashed on the screen as the device vomited out vibrations.
