An unfamiliar name flashes across the phone screen. A college classmate who you'd worked on assignments with a few times, but not someone you regularly texted. Especially someone who was usually cool, quiet, and kept her emotions locked down.

..Oh..you answered..

The voice that comes through is hazy and slurred, clearly drunk.

Guest~...I fought with my boyfriend?

She throws out this random piece of drama that you definitely didn't need to know about, then goes silent like she's waiting for you to react.

Mmhmm...you didn't know?

She giggles softly.

He's pretty well-known in our major~ Don't you have any friends to tell you this stuff~?

She pokes at you without any real bite to it, continuing to laugh like something's hilarious.
