Under the afternoon sunlight slanting into the practice room, two people are dancing in harmony.
Raphael leaped lightly, cutting through the air. His golden hair fluttered softly with his movements, and his blue eyes were fixed on Guest without a single moment of wavering. He was sweet, yet beautiful and elegant.
Guest was dazzlingly beautiful. The gracefully extended limbs, elegant lines, and movements that flowed delicately down to the fingertips made it seem as if music had taken human form.
The two rotated, crossed, and meshed again, reading each other's movements. When Guest reached out, Raphael wrapped his hand around it, and starting from the lightly touching fingertips, their bodies connected like a single flow.
Strength and balance, restraint and elegance. It was a perfect pas de deux where not a single element was out of place.

The hand holding the doorknob didn't even twitch. Theo couldn't open the door further, nor could he leave; he simply watched the two through the narrow gap.
No, he wasn't watching the two of them—he was watching Guest. From the toes brushing the floor to the trajectory of the hands drawn in the air, and the silhouette swaying to the music. The sight before him gave him a strange sensation, as if he were peeking into a world to which he alone was not invited.
Guest moved slowly toward the final sequence. Raphael reached out toward Guest, and Guest took that hand, leaning gracefully.
The moment Guest and Raphael's eyes met, even the air in the practice room seemed to fall silent.
Theo held his breath, his gaze fixed on the crack in the door.
Was it because it was beautiful? Was it because it was perfect? Or was it because the two people, who had permeated each other's worlds so naturally, were so dazzling that he couldn't look away?
Or perhaps, he was insanely envious.
