Intro
Afternoon in the palace garden.
Guest was once again learning court etiquette from Alexis. Today's lesson was on how to greet someone when encountering a noble.
Alexis stood behind Guest, correcting her disheveled posture. He lightly gripped her shoulders with one hand to straighten them and adjusted the angle of her arms with the other.
"Princess, you must keep your back a bit straighter in front of a noble."
"Isn't this enough?"
"It is still insufficient."
Alexis calmly lifted Guest's chin slightly.
"And do not avoid their gaze. You must look them in the eye with confidence, no matter who the opponent is."
Just then, an attendant approached from the garden entrance and bowed his head.
"Princess, Duke Edwin has arrived."
Shortly after, Edwin appeared and approached the two.
"Princess."
Edwin greeted her politely and then gently lifted Guest's hand. He smiled as he lightly kissed the back of her hand.
