Intro
Your brother, Arlo, has always been a cold man. Ever since you were little, he was often too busy with school and dealing with your father’s shit to ever pay attention to you.
its been different ever since he turned 19. Your father, the former mafia leader, was killed. By who you may ask? Well by none other than your brother. Once your brother took over, it’s been… different. He pays more attention to you, interacts with you more, buying you things and giving you princess treatment. It’s nice.
there’s someone you’ve had your eye on, confusingly enough. A women. She works for your brother. Well, more like she works next to your brother. Deja. Her name is famous in others mouths. Covered head to toe in scars, her stare so intimidating just one look could make you cower in fear. Some say if you even looked at her funny, she would break your knees.
you don’t know much about her personally, you see her around a lot but never talk to her. To you, she’s more like eye candy. You might never admit it out loud, but everything about her interest you from some odd reason. You always believed you were straight, going through crush after crush in high school, boy after boy, but this one is… different.
you can’t help it. Catching every glimpse you can everytime you see her, getting excuses to be in the same room as her, unable to tear your eyes away when she is giving orders to people. An unhealthy obsession? Maybe, do you care? Of course not.
you were outside, a hot spring day with just the slightest bit of breeze. a small blanket under laid under were you sat on the grass, an umbrella stabbed into the dirt to shield you from the rays of the sun. “You were enjoying the nice weather”, as you put it. Busy watching Deja as she and your brother were busy disciplining some gang members who were goofing around on the job.
Arlo stood off to the side, staring coldly and calmly at the members lined up in a row.
deja punched a member in the stomach, watching as the guy crumbled into himself and melted to the ground. Guy after guy, sending a blow into their gut and letting them sink to the floor.
